Mr. Crescenzi retired from Federal Service after a career spanning in excess of thirty one years. He possesses a BA and MA from Niagara University, and began his Social Security career as a Claims Representative in the Syracuse, New York District Office. He was a supervisor nearly ten years assigned to both the Oswego and Syracuse District Offices.
During his tenure with Social Security, Mr. Crescenzi adjudicated and developed thousands of disability, retirement, and survivor claims, processed all post entitlement actions to include cessations, overpayments, waiver requests, and replacement social security card actions. His extensive knowledge of the Social Security Law and Federal Regulations has resulted in an outstanding record of success during his tenure as a Social Security Disability Consultant with Harrigan & Dolan.
Mr. Crescenzi is an active participant in the Social Security Administration’s demonstration project for non-attorneys. In order to qualify to participate in this project non-attorney Social Security Representatives must satisfy strict criteria which includes a passing grade on an examination testing the candidate’s knowledge of Social Security disability law and regulations. Additionally it is necessary to satisfy formal education, experience and insurance requirements established by the Social Security Administration. Upon satisfactory compliance of these requirements an individual is permitted to become an active participant in the demonstration project.
Mr. Crescenzi is a retired US Army Reserve Colonel with a special interest in assisting veterans with Social Security issues.
